India has Taj Mahal, Red Fort in Agra and there are so many tamples to see which give you cam. and you may see temples in south and any corner in india.
you should take flight for delhi, capital of india. and you can go from here to any part of india easily by air or by road.

  2. It depends on the lengths of your stay.
If you are here for a week just select a destination
For a month then look for 3 destination
More than a month then look out to cover the best in India

I feel the must visit places in India a foreignor should go are
    TAJ MAHAL- GOA – KERALA

You may also visit Temples of Tamilnadu
    Andaman Islands
    Lakswadeep
    Pushkar
    Ooty/Kodaikanal

To get to see around TAJ MAHAL Book your tickets To DELHI AIRPORT

For GOA Book your tickets To BANGLORE AIRPORT

To see around KERALA Book you tickets To COCHIN AIRPORT

If your stay is long, Book your tickets to an arrival airport then take a domestic airticket in India for other destination. So book your ticket back to london by another airport.

    Then Best Option:

    Arrive at Cochin Airport (cok)
    -5day Kerala Tour
Travel To Goa by Indian Railways(12-16hours)
    -3day Goa Tour
Towards Delhi by Air or Rail(48hours- [not sure])
    -3day Delhi Agra Tour
Fly Back to London fro Delhi Airport(del)

You could go to Shimla and other hill stations that the Brits built in Northern India for the governor generals of that time. You could see some snow there and venture into the Himalayan foothills.

If you want to avoid snow, etc; you could go visit the cities of Bombay & Delhi (Bombay will be mild but Delhi could be a tad cold). From Delhi, you can make a day trip to Agra and another trip to Jaipur. You could also take a 7 day train journey “Palace on wheels” running through Rajastan and see among things, the palaces built by Maharajahs.

Southern India is somewhat mild too during the winters. Try Goa and Kerala. Both states are naturally beautiful and rich in history and culture.

British Airways flies direct to Bombay & Delhi from Heathrow airport; I believe at least twice everyday. I believe there is also a flight to and from Madras (Chennai). You should get connecting flights to Goa’s Panjim Airport and Cochin (Kochi) Airport in Kerala from Bombay, Delhi & Madras. Hope this helps.
