In Denver there are plenty of resorts. Look up the ones by the mountains -Vail, Keystone, Copper, Brekenridge. Copper is one of my favorites.Enjoy!
It has to be either Telluride or Durango. Both smaller towns with excellent skiing facilities and really beautiful and fun places to stay and see:
