A chauffeur service is a personalized transport service that typically calls for a limousine and a driver.  Not all chauffeurs drive limos though.  A chauffeur might drive a big auto or a van.  You will often see very high-priced, privately owned automobiles like a Rolls Royce driven by a chauffeur.

Other companies provide city tours for guests and can be rented for the day.  The chauffeur in this case would double as an experienced tour guide, knowing all the greatest places to visit, browse and eat.  He will make bookings for his guests and know the best access to sites that might be difficult to get into on your own.
